Local Lifestyle

Though the community may be small, there is still plenty to keep residents occupied in Westhampton. Several established eateries provide service in the area, while recreational opportunities also abound. The quiet streets and beach setting are well-loved by the locals here, but there is also a desire to enjoy the additional amenities of nearby big cities.

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

A few favored eateries in Westhampton provide dining possibilities. Casa Basso is a well-loved Italian spot that offers a three-course meal specially chosen by the chef. Or, you can select a traditional menu item from the handful of available selections. Buoy One is the best spot in town for seafood. Many patrons enjoy their meals while sitting on the outdoor terrace that overlooks the area. It provides picturesque views that are unmatched. Baked clams, crab cakes, lobster, oysters, coconut shrimp, a fried fish sandwich, and more fill the menu.
Cafe Volo is also nearby, providing worthwhile breakfast and lunch selections. Various egg dishes are on the breakfast menu, along with pancakes, waffles, and French toast. For lunch, you can enjoy soup, salad, a sandwich, panini, street tacos, ravioli, or fried calamari.

When you want to purchase fresh produce and local goods to take home, the Farmers Market Farm Stand is the best option nearby. Rather than waiting for a weekly event, you can visit this stand daily when the weather permits. Honey, cheese, and even fresh seafood can be found here.

A variety of boutiques and shops are nearby in Westhampton Beach, though many patrons prefer to make their way to Eastport. The city is well-known for its shopping malls and opportunities, with several locations available to find the best clothing, home goods, and more. Village Square is one of the closest possibilities, while the Eastport Shopping Center is also favored.
