There are no major attractions in the neighborhood itself, as it wants to remain an undisturbed area away from it all. However, you're just minutes away from many popular locales in neighboring communities, like Speonk, Westhampton Beach, and more.

Many residents prefer to dine at home, enjoying the tranquility of the area. If you do want to enjoy dine-in service at a popular establishment, venture to the nearby cities and towns that provide numerous accommodations. Brewology295 is a gastropub located within a chic industrial space. They create modern twists on American cuisine classics and serve their own beer. 
When locals crave seafood in an upscale setting, they make their way to Eastport to enjoy a delicious meal at Trumpets on the Bay. This favored establishment provides gorgeous views of the surrounding bay and is considered one of the more romantic restaurants in the area. 
Mary's Pizza and Pasta is also a well-loved spot nearby. Enjoy the ambiance of this delicious eatery, whether you're dining indoors or sitting outside on the patio. Flatbreads, personal pies, a variety of pasta dishes, and appetizers make up the menu. 
The absence of shops in Remsenburg does not stop patrons from enjoying shopping excursions nearby. Eastport is a terrific location just minutes away, with plenty of opportunities for finding fashion-forward pieces to update your wardrobe or add decor to your home. Village Square and Eastport Commons are two malls in the area with a variety of boutiques and stores to meet your fancy. 

Things to Do

With no traffic to worry about, many residents of Remsenburg simply enjoy walking and biking around town. When you crave more adventure, start by visiting the many memorial parks nearby. The Remsenburg-Speonk 9/11 Memorial sits within Westhampton Beach. 
The Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Park in East Moriches is also a favored choice. The gorgeous landscaping and lush greenery are a sight worth seeing. There are benches provided so you can simply sit and take in the views surrounding you, or you can get up and walk the space to view it all more closely.
When you prefer a laid-back area to get out on the water away from the traditional beach areas, go to Flight 800 Memorial Park in nearby Center Moriches. It's an excellent spot for kayaking and fishing. There are also paths to walk so you can take in the incredible sights of nature that surround you. You'll often see ducks and other wildlife here. The quaint park is well-loved by many throughout the year for its tranquility. 


Remsenburg belongs to the Remsenburg-Speonk Union Free School District and is home to just one elementary school, with other choices in nearby neighborhoods to complete a full education.
